The Initiative

The It's Gotta Be the Shoes combines community and shoes to create a positive experience for everyone involved.

Partner with People.

We partner with groups like the Boys & Girls Clubs, community centers, and other like minded organizations to provide an experience for our kids like no other.

Inspire and engage.

Each child receives a new pair of shoes, a pair of socks, and note cards from an athlete whose college has partnered with one of our ambassadors. The coaches and athletes provide a positive message to help our kids envision a brighter future for themselves.

Give thanks.

Included in each box is a set of notecards the child can use to show thanks and learn about the power of appreciation. Our donors receive these cards as a thank you for their contributions of money and time.
